Many of our customers have specific questions about our professional maid services. Here are just a few of the frequently asked questions we hear at Cleaning Company.

General Questions

How can I get a quote?

Simply click the “Get a Quote” button at the top of the page or click HERE to be redirected. A member of our staff will review your request and follow up by the end of the business day to secure the time and date. To configure pricing, visit the CALCULATE page, enter your home information and type of cleaning needed and the calculator will dynamically adjust.

How do you charge for cleaning?

Because the needs of our customers are so diverse, there is no one fits all when it comes to our pricing. We take a combination of our targeted hourly rate, combined with a per square foot rate that corresponds to the type of clean you need to provide pricing. A walk through will determine the final cost, and it is presented to you prior to booking anything. It will not change once your cleaning agreement has been signed by you, unless of course you need to make some last minute adjustments. We are happy to accommodate those requests, and final pricing will be adjusted if needed. In-home estimates are free of charge and at absolutely no obligation to you.

Does someone have to visit my house before I can book a cleaning?

Yes! You get a chance to meet with the Owner or our Field Manager to do a brief inspection of your home. Because we don’t want our customers to feel like they’re on the spot to make a decision, pricing is not provided at the time of the quote. We take this information back to our office for review and a quote is sent to you via email for you to view at your leisure. Once signed, we will contact you to schedule the cleaning. This is truly a painless process and the walk through takes just 5-10 minutes of your time.

If you absolutely need to skip the walk through, we can charge our hourly rate.

Are cleaning supplies included?

We provide absolutely everything needed to clean your home. This includes high end products that we’ve tried and tested over the years. Using high quality chemicals helps us deliver high quality results!

We have state-of-the-art backpack vacuums for high-powered suction, commercial grade mops and the elbow grease for any job!

What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?

We offer a 48-hour post-clean guarantee in that if you find something that does not meet your satisfaction, we will return as soon as possible to fix it. Please get in touch with us right away and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. Our crews handle dozens of houses each week and while we strive for perfection every time, occasionally something may be missed. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by and will, at all costs, do our best to remedy the situation.

We try to eliminate this from happening, so a thorough inspection and checklist is completed by the team leader before the crew closes the job.

Scheduling Questions

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?

We can’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can sometimes meet this request.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?

Absolutely not! You decide how we access your home whether a code, key or access point. If you prefer to be home, or perhaps work from home, the crew will determine your preferred starting point so to not disrupt your flow.

DOES MY CLEANER ARRIVE AT THE EXACT TIME I BOOK?

We allow a two-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances, or in the event they go over time during a clean before yours. In scenarios where your crew will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.

WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?

You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed unless you are on auto-pay where our payment processing provider auto-charges around 6 AM. Payment is always due at time of cleaning except for our commercial clients, whose bill is due the last working day of the calendar month.

We offer convenient card payments (a 4% fee applies), accept checks and cash. If you set up card payments, we process for you making your transaction with us as easy as possible.

ARE THERE ANY COMMITMENTS OR CONTRACTS?

We have an industry-standard month-to-month cleaning agreement which simply requires a 30-notice to cancel service and keeping all scheduled visits within that time frame. If you are unable to fulfill this requirement, there is a $90.00 early termination fee.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?

Here’s a listing of what gets cleaned in every room of your house during a standard cleaning. You can also request extra items via your customer dashboard.

Bathrooms:

  • Toilets
  • Showers, tubs
  • Mirrors
  • Counters, sinks, faucet areas
  • General tidy and dusting
  • Baseboards and doors hand-washed (every visit)
  • Trash taken out
  • Wipe cabinets
  • Floors thoroughly cleaned (small bathrooms get hand-cleaned)

Kitchen:

  • Appliance exteriors
  • Interior of microwave
  • Counters
  • Small appliance exteriors
  • Trash taken out
  • Sliding glass door and window (if applicable)
  • Sink, faucet area
  • Cabinets wiped clean

Dusting:

  • General furniture dusting
  • Window sills dusted
  • Couches wiped/vacuumed

Floors:

  • Floors are vacuumed and mopped every visit

Miscellaneous:

  • Trashes are taken out throughout your home
  • Sliding glass doors are cleaned inside and out (weather permitting)
  • Beds are straightened up at every visit
  • Light tidying as needed throughout

Rotational Basis:

Our recurring service includes maintenance tasks that are completed during your initial service, ensuring we don’t ever have to charge for a deep cleaning again. These tasks are completed on an alternating basis (2-4 rotational tasks per visit) and include the following:

  • Dust blinds
  • Dust baseboards
  • Cobwebbing
  • Dust vents, dust above door frames
  • Detail-clean doors and doorways
  • Low dusting (dusting underneath accessible furniture on hard floors)
  • Detail kitchen cabinets

DO YOU PROVIDE THE SUPPLIES?

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We pride ourselves on offering a wide array of services to meet as many of our customers requirements without calling multiple companies. Our services include:

  • Move in and move out cleaning
  • Office and commercial cleaning
  • One time or recurring residential cleaning
  • Carpet, tile, grout and upholstery cleaning
  • Granite and stone sealant
  • Hard water removal
  • Shower tile and grout cleaning
  • Pre-party and post-event cleannups
  • Daycare, or other similar small building cleaning

HOW MANY CLEANERS DO YOU SEND?

Our crews consist of 2-3 cleaners per team. Up to 6 for jobs in excess of 6 hours (example, a move-out for a home above 4,500 square feet).

If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same person going forward.

ARE VALLEY CLEANING SERVICE CLEANERS SCREENED?

The cleaners go through a screening process that includes a background screen, reference checks and in-person interviews. We also require significant experience in residential house cleaning to work with us which is all verified.
